I'm a sweet and friendly little girl, that's always going to be a darling with nice people, especially MY people! My energy level keeps me busy, although I'm not all that active. My perkiness kicks up a gear as I settle into unfamiliar territory, so please don't let my nervous energy make you afraid of me. You'll still be able to treat me the same, pick me up and carry me around, pet me, even though you can actually feel the heightened energy in me! It may look a little different, but I'm still asking to be pet. Once familiar with where I am and our new routine, I'll feel safe and loved and will return to being the silly sweetheart you love. I get excited to see people coming to visit me, because that's what I like the most! I love to be out with you, always walking around your legs, following you, rubbing against you and laying on your feet occasionally for a few seconds when you stop. They always have toys out and motion toys going when I'm out, and tell me that if I would try it, I would be great at playing with them. They say I could love pouncing around trying to catch the motion hiding toys from Amazon, and have fun zoomies chasing toys into the tunnel and rolling around playing with them there. I just can't focus on them right now. Maybe as I get settled and more comfy here, and in a new home, I would give it a try and start having fun, and have less stored up energy buzzing through me! I'm still a youngster, so keep encouraging me to play with you and our wand toys, trying to chase the ball or play with a fuzzy mouse. Having a cat tree or two will help use fun energy and give me something else to do that I like! A comfy bed in a quiet spot will also be nice. It will be best to feed me on a fairly regular schedule, so I know when it's time and only expect wet food then. Try giving my yummy treats when it's time to wind down at the end of the day, or before bedtime. I'm used to getting them right before lights out here. Having things happen close to the same time everyday, will help keep my energy in check, so we can all love being together even more!
