About Aya

Say "hiya" to Aya, a sweet and affectionate 3-year-old girl who made the journey all the way from Qatar in search of her forever home! In addition to being a pretty kitty, Aya is incredibly friendly and loves spending time with people. While she's not a lap cat, she'll happily rub against your legs to ask for pets and attention. After being abandoned a few months ago, Aya was understandably shy when she first arrived. But this resilient girl has already begun coming out of her shell beautifully, showing more of her loving personality each day. Adaptable and easygoing, Aya has done well in a variety of environments, including quiet homes, households with young children, and homes with other cats. With her gentle nature and affectionate spirit, Aya is ready to bring warmth, companionship, and plenty of love to her lucky new family. Interested in adopting Aya? Follow the instructions below! -------- If you are interested in adopting, please fill out our online adoption application by copying and pasting the following link into your browser: http://thecatconnection.org/adopt/adoption-application/ Following the instructions and filling out this application rather than emailing us will get you a quicker response. Please also consider fostering as an alternative to adoption. To learn more, go to: http://thecatconnection.org/get-involved/foster/ Adoption Fee (effective 3/15/24) 12 mos. $375 1-4 yrs $300 5-9 yrs. $250 10+ yrs. $125 These fees fund spay/neutering, microchipping, vaccinations, and combo testing (feline leukemia and FIV) for your adopted cat, rescue efforts, shelter, and veterinary care. Our policy is to adopt kittens in pairs. We find that kittens are much happier when they have a companion and they tend to expend their youthful energy on each other rather than on your couch! Kittens are adorable, but older cats can be wonderful pets as well and they tend to be overlooked, so please consider adopting an adult cat or two! The Cat Connection is a not-for-profit 501(c)(3)organization of volunteers who rescue homeless cats. To find out more about us, please visit our website: http://thecatconnection.org/
