Hi, Im Kelso. I'm only about a year old and 29 pounds, and well, life hasn't always been kind to me. I was found as a stray, and while I wont bore you with all the sad details, I learned early on that the world can be a little scary. That's why I might seem shy when we first meet. But once I know you're one of the good ones? My tail starts wagging, my eyes soften, and I'll quietly scoot closer for love. I'm the kind of dog who notices the little things. A gentle voice. A soft bed. A kind hand reaching down to scratch my ears. Those things mean everything to me. The rescue has taken great care of me. I'm neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, and was treated for a very early case of heartworm. My health is in good shape, and now all that's missing is a family. I just need someone who will look at a shy little stray and say, You're safe now, Kelso. You're home. And I promise Ill spend the rest of my life trying to show you how much that means to me. Rescue Coop is a registered 501c that saves dogs from imminent euthanasia and at risk situations and transports them directly to approved adopters nationwide. We are located in SC but in three years, we have placed 550 dogs in 28 states. We post our dogs in the areas we regularly transport to. Our adoption fee is $200 with no additional transport charges. Unfortunately we are unable to do meet and greets but our adoption coordinators strive to make excellent matches.
