About Freesia

Meet Freesia A Gentle Soul with a Playful Side Quick Facts: Age: 2 Years Gender: Female Vaccinations: Up to date Spayed/Neutered: Yes FeLV & FIV: Negative Microchipped: Yes House Trained: Yes Good With: Cats, dogs, Respectful older children Freesia came to the Oswego County SPCA from a severe hoarding situation, but despite her difficult start, she has blossomed into a sweet and affectionate companion. Freesia is the kind of cat who likes to be near her people. While she isn't a fan of being picked up and can be startled by sudden movements, she loves gentle pets and will happily settle in beside you once she feels comfortable. Given enough time, she may even drape part of herself across your lap and drift off to sleep while you softly pet herincluding her belly on occasion, if you're especially gentle. One of Freesia's favorite things in the world is spending time with other cats. She especially loves playing with her feline friends and truly comes alive when another cat invites her to join in. Whether it's a game of peekaboo around a pop-up tent or chasing toys together, Freesia's playful side shines brightest when she has a companion to share it with. While she'll occasionally bat around a toy mouse on her own, she'd much rather have a friend to play with. Freesia is also a big fan of wet food and is always happy to help make sure every last bite gets eaten. She has a gentle, respectful nature and often gives her people space when they're busy, only coming over for affection once the work is done. With her extra toe beans and sweet personality, she's impossible not to love. Freesia is looking for a patient home that will respect her boundaries, appreciate her gentle nature, and ideally provide her with a feline friend to help bring out her playful side. If Youre Thinking About Adopting Me, I Think You Should Know... I like to take things at my own pace. Being picked up isn't really my thing, and sudden movements can make me a little nervous. But if you sit down and give me a chance, I'll probably come hang out with you. I love gentle pets, cozy naps, yummy wet food, and spending time with my cat friends. If you already have a playful kitty at home, that's a huge bonusI think everything is more fun when there's another cat to share it with. I'm not the loudest cat in the room, but once I trust you, I'll show you just how sweet I can be.
