Drake came from the kind of story Detroit sees over and over again. Found outside in below-freezing temperatures by a concerned Detroit citizen...skinny, filthy, and trying to survive another night. When Drake came to us, he was 33 pounds UNDERweight. And somehow, through all of it, he still decided people were worth trusting. Especially the men in his life. He was given the time he needed to decompress, settle in, gain weight, and finally feel safe. Now Drake is ready for his next chapter.
