About Oliver
Oliver’s journey has had its ups and downs. He started life chained in a backyard until a rescue saw his potential. He was adopted as a puppy and found happiness with a loving family, but returned after a year when he couldn’t peacefully share his home with their male dog. Now at two and a half, Oliver is back in Detroit and still incredibly open, loyal, and full of love for the right family to notice him. What stands out most about Oliver is his deep need to connect with people. He has a soft spot for cuddling and simply wants to be close, whether draped across your feet or shadowing you from room to room. His personality is sweet and gentle, and he thrives on affection and structure. Oliver would do best as the only dog or possibly with a chill, non-dominant female dog. He’s not interested in drama, just genuine companionship and a place to settle in. He’s lost a lot but hasn’t given up hope. Oliver is house trained, neutered, and current on vaccinations. He just needs someone to see the loyal, honest soul beneath his handsome looks and offer him a forever chance. Ready to meet your new best friend? Apply now!
