Gentle giant Geoffrey just wants to go home... Poor sweet Geoffrey doesn't know what happened to his old life. All he knows is after almost 8 loyal years his previous "owners" dropped him off at daycare like they normally did....except this time, they never came back to pick him up. Since then, he has waited for them every day. And now he only has a week to find somewhere to go. Geoffrey is 8 years old and weighs about 90 lbs. He is neutered and up to date with his vaccines. Geoffrey is so loving and desperately wants someone to give all his big love to! He is a well-behaved good boy and he has proven that by being in a socialized daycare every day for months. He is great at meeting new people and other dogs, playing with similar large-sized dogs every day. Geoffrey can be bathed and have his nails trimmed with no issues - and looks super cute in the tub! He would do well with older kids 12+. A daycare is a great place to show what a good boy he is - but it is a facility, it isn't a home. And now he has a deadline. We usually post dogs in need from NYC and throughout the northeast, but now we need the help of our more southern supporters. With a committed foster or adopter, we can rescue Geoffrey. The staff that knows him can tell being in the facility every day and every night for all these months is starting to wear on him.
