About Dixby Daxby
They are waiting with paws crossed! Apply now! Dixby Daxby is a lovable Shepherd and Rottweiler mix who was rescued in Texas after being abandoned and left to fend for himself. Though life has not always been kind to him, he now radiates joy and energy, thoroughly enjoying the company of people and other dogs. Dixby has transformed into a happy, affectionate pup who delights in head scritches, cuddle sessions on the couch, and playtime in the yard. His favorite things include going for walks, rolling on the rug, and chewing on his Benebone. Despite his senior age, Dixby is lively and playful, and would thrive with a family that can provide a fenced yard for safe fun and exploration. He is learning his commands and quickly mastering sit, wait, come, and off. Above all, Dixby just wants a home full of comfort and love—a true testament to his resilient spirit after enduring so much.
