About Zuri

Zuri is a delightful 1.5-year-old female Great Pyrenees ready to find her forever home. Affectionate and playful, she is currently underweight at 60 lbs but is a great eater, so we expect her to reach a healthy weight soon. Watch out—she's a bit of a counter surfer, so keep the snacks up high. With new people, Zuri is incredibly sweet and loves belly rubs, often collapsing in your lap to soak up all the love. She gets along well with dogs and has already made friends with the large male dog in her foster home. Although she hasn't been around children much, her affectionate nature suggests she would thrive in a family environment. Zuri has shown curiosity towards one cat but responded well to commands, proving she can adapt. Intelligent and eager to please, Zuri is house trained, leash trained, and even knows basic commands like "sit" and "down". She may bark at motorcycles or large trucks during car rides, showcasing her cute personality. Zuri is spayed and up to date on her vaccinations, making her ready for adoption. Zuri is currently in a foster home in the DFW area of Texas. While we adopt out of state, it's the responsibility of the adopters to arrange transport. Ready to meet this wonderful companion?
