About Pickle

Meet Pickle! Pickle is a sweet boy who recently arrived as part of a puppy mill release. He’s now starting the journey of discovering how wonderful it is to be in a home and part of a loving family. Like many survivors, he’s still adjusting to a world that’s entirely new. Initially, he may feel shy or unsure around new faces and environments. However, with patience, gentle handling, and a predictable routine, he’s learning that life can be safe and comforting. Currently, Pickle is crate trained, which gives him a sense of security, but he isn’t house trained yet. He will need a caring family ready to help him learn with consistency and encouragement. Previously, he lived around children and got along well with other dogs. With slow introductions, he would likely do well with cats too. Every small step forward means a lot for a puppy mill survivor like Pickle. Whether it’s relaxing in a new space, showing curiosity, or starting to seek out human affection, these moments signify growing trust. Pickle is in search of a calm, understanding home where he can progress at his own pace and build confidence. In return, he has the potential to develop into a loyal and loving companion who truly flourishes with time. If you’re ready to help a shy dog find safety, comfort, and love, Pickle might just be the perfect match for you. Click apply to start the adoption process.
