Meet Zella, a small Miniature Poodle mix with a gentle spirit and a huge capacity for love. At around seven years old, Zella has spent most of her life as a breeding mama and now she’s ready for a new chapter in a real home. Her temperament is what truly shines—she’s remarkably sweet with every person she meets and never reactive to other dogs or critters. She’s fostered with small dogs and gets along well, and she thrives in a foster family with older children who adore her. Cats haven’t been tested, but her demeanor points toward being easygoing. Zella is low energy and happy with a leisurely daily walk, spending the rest of her time resting or sticking closely to her humans. She’s house-training in progress and not a fan of crates after years in confinement, so a household where someone is home a lot would suit her best. Patience and continued work on basic obedience and confidence-building will help her fully settle. Zella is seeking a loving home that appreciates her journey and is ready for a loyal companion. She must be adopted with a contract addendum for future spay, as she’s finishing her final litter. Vaccinations and preventatives are up to date, and she’s microchipped and dewormed.
