About Omar

Omar is a neutered male with an estimated date of birth of January 1, 2025. He is current on his vaccinations and has tested negative for Feline AIDS (FIV) and Feline Leukemia (FELV). This charming short-haired black tuxedo cat spent the winter outdoors before being rescued from a feral colony behind an apartment complex. Despite his rough start, Omar has a gentle demeanor. Initially, he may appear shy, but he truly just wants love. Once comfortable, he will lean into your hands for pets, and when held, he relaxes enough to purr heartily. He has shown that he can coexist with other cats, making him a suitable companion with proper introductions. Omar would thrive in a safe and loving home, away from the stresses of shelter life. Given his sensitivity, he may not be best suited for homes with small children. He will need some time to adjust to a new environment, but his affectionate nature and adorable personality will surely shine once he settles in. Ready to meet Omar?
