About Hugo
Hugo is a neutered male brown tabby, short-haired and unmistakably handsome. He turned up as part of a group of kittens found near a busy local restaurant and quickly became a shelter favoriteāalways leaping into volunteersā arms for attention. Hugo has come a long way since those early days on the street, and heās now a healthy, playful guy who really loves his pets and people time. Hugo is an alpha cat at heart. He shows signs of thriving as the only cat in a home, and anyone hoping for a multi-cat dynamic should probably keep looking. He does not do well with dogs, either. Heāll need a bit of patience and time to fully settle when he gets to his forever home, so heās best with an adopter whoās comfortable with cats and can give him the stable environment he craves. If youāre seeking a bold, affectionate solo cat and have the patience and savvy to help him transition, Hugo is ready to make that leapāliterally and figuratively. Click apply and let the tail-wagging begin!

How much outdoor space does this breed typically need?
Hugo, being a Domestic Short Hair, is perfectly content living indoors and doesn't require outdoor space. If safe access to a sun porch or catio is possible, he might enjoy supervised time outside, but indoor living suits him just fine.
