About Sandy

Meet Sandy. This sweet little princess is a 3-year-old Long Hair Chihuahua, likely mixed with a hint of Pomeranian for that extra charm. Life hasn’t been easy for Sandy. She has been passed around, never really finding a place to call home. When she finally reached a groomer in southwest Oklahoma, she was in rough shape; her coat was severely matted, covered in fleas, and her toenails were so long that walking was a challenge. Fortunately, a compassionate groomer recognized her worth and, thanks to volunteers who transported her, Sandy made it safely to Fairy Dogmother Rescue. Sandy is now poised to begin her new chapter. This lovely girl is house trained, does not require crating, and adores other dogs. She welcomes everyone with open paws, never turning away from a new friend. Sandy enjoys cuddling beside her person and is gentle and affectionate. More than anything, she longs for a human to share her love with. Sandy is scheduled for vet care next week and will be fully vetted before adoption, but she’s already proven to be a fantastic companion. After a life filled with uncertainty, Sandy is ready for her happily-ever-after. Could that be with you? Adoption fee is $235. What are you waiting for? Apply today!
