About Dutton
Meet Dutton, a remarkable little dog with quite the story. Once known as Cobra in a rural Oklahoma shelter, he was terrified and would curl up in the corner, trying to hide from the world. Thankfully, his time at Fairy Dogmother Rescue has shown him kindness and safety, helping him to blossom. Dutton came to his foster home severely matted and infested with fleas and ticks. After a complete shave down, he’s sporting an adorable "summer sporty cut". He’s in transition, but soon his beautiful fluffy coat will come back, revealing a charming gentleman. The real joy in Dutton’s journey is watching him learn to trust. After just a couple of weeks, this previously fearful dog now follows his humans around the house and eagerly seeks their company. He needs a patient adopter who understands the importance of taking things slow. While he may not dash into your arms, once Dutton feels safe, he melts and his true affectionate personality shines. Dutton is potty trained, trustworthy in the house, and enjoys the company of other dogs. He would thrive in a household with older, calm children and requires a family ready to give him the time he needs to settle. Dutton has already shown a desire to love; he just needs someone to guide him through this new chapter of his life. Could you be that special family? Adoption Fee: $235. What are you waiting for?
