About Tank
Meet Tank, a big-hearted goofball ready for a fresh start in life. He arrived at the shelter through no fault of his own. Although his past is a bit of a mystery, we do know he lived with a cat and enjoys the company of people. Tank is a young, strong pup who already knows how to "sit" and is highly motivated by treats—ideal for continued training. He loves leaning in for pets and soaking up attention, though he can get a little jumpy when excited. This behavior stems from his joyful and affectionate personality. Playtime is when Tank shines. While he showed interest when meeting other dogs, he might need some practice in socializing. Slow introductions and guidance from a trainer can help him develop positive social skills. Tank is looking for a home ready to help him learn, explore, and grow. If you're seeking a fun and loving companion who greets life with enthusiasm, Tank is eager to meet you. Adoption Audition available! Take Tank home for a 5-day, no-strings-attached trial period to see if he's the right fit for you. Visit our Michael R. Frey Campus in Fairfax or our Lorton Campus to meet him during open hours. Every animal deserves a happy ending. This one starts with you.
