About Shrimp
Meet Shrimp. At around 10 pounds and 2 years old, this tiny dog boasts a BIG personality. As a Chihuahua/Pomeranian mix, Shrimp is goofy, playful, and extremely affectionate. He craves companionship and offers a wealth of energy and joy to those he loves. Once comfortable, Shrimp becomes a true cuddle bug and makes an excellent couch companion. He thoroughly enjoys wrestling and playing with his foster siblings. While he settles well in a multi-dog household, Shrimp can be possessive over his food and toys. It's crucial for his future family to manage his interactions with other dogs who may not respect his space. With a history of leash reactivity, Shrimp benefits from calm and confident guidance, avoiding harsh corrections. He may initially be shy around new people, but warms up quickly and thrives on affection. Potty trained and kennel trained, Shrimp handles being picked up with ease and is engagingly playful. An ideal home for Shrimp would include a securely fenced yard where he can decompress. His new pet parent should be prepared to work with him on his reactivity if considering apartment living. Shrimp desires someone who’s patient and willing to help build his confidence. In return, you'll enjoy the company of this amusing little fluffball, who loves to snack, wrestle, and cuddle. He is neutered, up to date on vaccinations, and ready for adoption. If you want to meet Shrimp, please fill out our application.
