About Duke

Duke is a friendly 5-year-old Saint Bernard in search of a new home. He was dropped off about nine weeks ago after his owner had to make a difficult decision during a family crisis. Despite his circumstances, Duke remains a loving companion who adores being around people. He’s great with animals of all kinds, from tiny birds to cats, bunnies, goats, and even horses. While he's generally fine with other dogs, he prefers a more calm companion to match his relaxed demeanor. Duke is well-mannered, crate trained, and walks nicely on a leash. He enjoys lounging on the couch until his family comes home and has bursts of energy for playful zoomies. He doesn’t slobber as much as many of his fellow Bernards, making him a bit less messy than one might expect. If you're looking for a companion who is both gentle and affectionate, Duke could be the right fit for you. Click apply to start the adoption process.
