She was being trained as a therapy dog and has always shown a gentle heart, instinctively offering comfort during her visits to assisted living facilities. Recently, however, changes in her life, including the loss of companionship and extended times alone, have added some anxiety to her demeanor. Zoey is well-mannered, knows several commands, and walks nicely on a leash, enjoying leisurely strolls rather than jogs. While she may sound protective at home, she has never shown aggression and often approaches new dogs with a bow rather than hostility. Fully house-trained, she’ll signal when she needs to go outside and can adapt to different sleeping arrangements. She thrives on smaller, more frequent meals, making sure she stays comfortable.
