About Pepper

Every deck needs a wild card, and Pepper is ready to be yours! Pepper is a spirited 2.5-year-old Domestic Short Hair who is searching for her perfect home. Affectionate and playful, she brings laughter, companionship, and plenty of engaging conversation. Always eager for attention, she follows her people around and has a knack for chatting. If you're seeking a cat who wants to be involved in your daily life, Pepper is your girl. She came into care after injuring her front leg, where a fracture was diagnosed. Thankfully, Pepper made an excellent recovery and is now thriving. She spends her days at our farm location, where she has truly blossomed. Enjoying both indoor and outdoor living, she loves to explore during the day and reliably returns home each evening. As an excellent mouser, she appreciates having responsibilities around the farm. Incredibly social, Pepper greets visitors joyfully and soaks up all the attention she can get. After a thoughtful introduction, she's become good friends with our resident young female barn cat. She's also been exposed to horses, goats, and other farm animals and has adjusted confidently. However, due to past experiences being chased, she can be defensive around dogs; any canines should be introduced slowly to allow her time to settle. She would also do well in a dog-free home. Pepper is spayed, microchipped, and up to date on vaccinations. Whether you need a friendly farm companion, a skilled mouser, or a loving friend who makes you smile, Pepper might just be the perfect match for you. What are you waiting for? Apply today!
