About Chelo
Chelo is a lovely Doberman and German Shepherd mix with a striking brown and black coat and warm eyes that reflect her gentle nature. At about 50 pounds, she’s ready to find her forever home. Born in June 2024, Chelo embodies sweetness, balancing loves for play and relaxation beautifully. She is wonderful with children, interacting joyfully while being affectionate and kind. Adults will appreciate her friendly demeanor, and she adapts well to handling, though she appreciates gentle reassurance during grooming and vet visits. Chelo is easygoing with other dogs, displaying a respectful and submissive attitude. She enjoys their company but feels most confident in calm settings. Chelo has shown no reactivity or aggression and prefers a one-on-one play style. Her moderate energy means she enjoys daily walks and some outdoor time, but she’s also happy with a more relaxed lifestyle. While she still needs work on potty training, crate training, and leash skills, Chelo learns quickly and seeks to please. She thrives with a patient, structured adopter. Currently, Chelo is in foster care in NC and can be transported to her approved adoptive family. This loving soul is ready to bloom in the right environment. Every animal deserves a happy ending. This one starts with you.
