Ebony is a sleek, black beauty who started her journey under a backyard deck, where she was found caring for her kittens. After facing those challenges, it's no surprise she was initially cautious with people. Luckily, her little family found refuge in a caring foster home, allowing her to bloom into the affectionate cat she is today. Now, Ebony loves spending her days in one of the cat rooms, mingling with her feline friends and greeting her favorite volunteers with excitement. She adores attention, especially enjoying those much-loved belly rubs. Ebony even learned to hold her food bowl steady with her paw after watching a fellow kitty do it! While she prefers to keep all four paws on the ground and may express her dislike of being picked up, she's lovingly non-aggressive, simply making her preferences known. After building trust and forming bonds with her caregivers, Ebony is ready for a permanent home. She would thrive in a calm, low-key environment with patient people and other friendly pets. This intelligent and affectionate girl hopes her forever family is just around the corner. This could be the start of something paw-some.
