Libby is ready for a fresh start at six years old. This female Shih poo has had a tough time but is now thriving and eager for a loving home. She came to North Paw as an owner surrender, dealing with a serious skin infection and a lack of proper veterinary care. Thankfully, she has received the treatment needed and is now in great shape. Libby is house trained and patiently settles in her pen when needed. Although she's shy and nervous around new people, once trust is established, she becomes a loyal companion. Currently, she shares her foster home with three small dogs and gets along well with them, though she may be happier as the only pet. She thrives on attention and prefers not to share that love. A fenced-in yard would be ideal for her, and she prefers a home with children aged 12 and up. Libby enjoys walks, playing fetch, and snuggling up to her favorite humans. She still needs some work on her manners around unfamiliar dogs and people, so patient guidance and training will help her shine.
