About Aboots

Aboots is a lovely young Labrador Retriever mix, estimated to be around 4 months old. He was found abandoned with his siblings on a country road in Rusk, TX, and has since been taken in with care. Currently weighing about 28 pounds, he is expected to grow to around 50 pounds as an adult. Although he’s not yet neutered, that will come as he grows—his well-being is a priority. Aboots has yet to be house trained but has experience with crates alongside his siblings, so he settles well enough during those times. Despite his more independent nature, he’s affectionate and enjoys quiet moments cuddled up in an arm. He gets along well with dogs but hasn’t interacted with children or cats yet. He loves to explore his surroundings but remains calm in new situations. The adoption fee is $20.
