About Stormy
Meet Stormy! Stormy is searching for her forever home after being raised in loving care since her arrival at the rescue. This little lady is about 8 weeks old and is likely a German Shepherd mix, possibly with Husky or Australian Shepherd. With cute bicolor markings, she's bound to catch your eye. One of her sisters even has a striking blue eye, which adds to the intrigue of their breed. Stormy has a confident personality and isn’t shy about expressing her wants. She’s affectionate, loves being around people, and is eager to participate in whatever you’re doing. Playful and curious, her mouthiness is typical for her age and expected breeds. As a young puppy, she’s still mastering potty training, and formal crate training has yet to start. Bringing her home means you get to shape her into a well-rounded adult dog with the right training and socialization from you. This commitment can be fulfilling, but it does require patience and consistency. Apartment dwellers are encouraged to apply, but keep in mind that unvaccinated puppies can’t safely walk in common potty areas, complicating potty training. If you rent, ensure your landlord has no restrictions before applying. Stormy will be spayed around 4.5 months during her final vaccine appointment, which is included in the adoption process. If she sounds like the perfect addition to your family, don’t hesitate to fill out an adoption application so you can meet her! Please keep in mind, we don't transport or ship dogs; local applicants must come to the Dallas area to bring Stormy home. This could be the start of something paw-some.
