Meet Benedict, or Benny as he’s lovingly called. Benny is a charming young pup, just five months old, with a gentle spirit that’s hard to forget. His floppy ears and soulful eyes draw you in, revealing a personality filled with sweetness and loyalty. He may be one of the bigger pups in his litter, and we expect him to reach about 50 lbs as an adult. He’s the ideal medium-sized family dog, eager for adventures yet cozy enough to snuggle up with at the end of the day. While Benny might take a moment to warm up to new surroundings, once he feels safe, his affectionate and playful nature shines through. He enjoys being around other dogs and kids, truly embracing the companionship he craves. Although Benny hasn’t interacted with cats yet, his calm demeanor suggests he would adjust well with proper introductions. Benny was born with a common condition called entropion, causing slight inward rolling of his eyelids. He received quick corrective surgery and is healing beautifully. This has no impact on his daily life, and he will live a happy, normal life moving forward. Rescued alongside his siblings before a harsh winter storm, Benny is already crate trained and doing great with potty training. He’s a keen learner, responding well to kindness and consistency. With a loving heart and an eager-to-please attitude, Benny is ready to become someone's once-in-a-lifetime best friend.
