About Oso

Say hello to Oso, a friendly brown "bear" with a charming personality. This beautiful chocolate brushcoat Shar Pei has a heart full of love to share. He thrives in the company of other dogs, happily sharing his bed, toys, and food with his furry friends. Oso loves to be near his people and will stick to your side wherever you go, whether you're in the bathroom or trying to relax. Although he can be crated, he prefers freedom and will sing a little to express his feelings about being confined. His foster mom lets him roam free when she leaves for work, and you can find him napping while eagerly waiting for her return. Because Oso is so people-oriented, he would do best in a home with another friendly dog to alleviate any separation anxiety. Though he's a bit unsure around men, this could just be him being an excellent judge of character. Oso is full of affection, loves giving kisses, and is incredibly motivated by treats. While he doesn’t know any commands yet, with patience and some snacks, this smart boy will catch on quickly. He’s neutered, up-to-date on vaccinations, and will receive further veterinary care before adoption. If you’re looking for a loyal, silly, and affectionate companion, Oso is ready to bring his joy into your home.
