About Fern

Meet Fern! Fern is a lively Lab mix who’s about a year old. She came to us as a stray, initially fearful and timid. With some time and love, her bright personality unfolded, and now she’s a happy, outgoing girl ready to steal your heart. Her excitement is infectious. Whenever she spots her favorite people, tail wags turn into happy whines, and she’s eager for fun. Playtime, cuddle time, or adventure time, Fern is all in! She adores her walks, often stopping to roll around in the grass or explore anything green along the way—her name truly suits her. Smart and playful, she knows commands like "sit," "shake," and "lay down," all while relishing the attention she gets, especially if treats are involved. While Fern is dog-selective, we recommend a meet-and-greet with any potential canine companions. We’re still figuring out her feelings about cats but can conduct a cat test upon request. If you're in search of a fun-loving companion who brings joy to every day, Fern could be the perfect addition to your family. Ready to fall in love? Hit apply and let's get started.
