About Shelbie
Meet Shelbie, a lovely 10-year-old Shetland Sheepdog, who’s ready to find her forever home. Her 11th birthday is coming up on July 28, making this a perfect time to celebrate with a caring family. Shelbie is a beautiful sable and white girl with medium-length fur and has been an absolute angel in her foster home. This sweet companion is spayed and up to date on all her veterinary care, including vaccinations and a recent dental procedure. Shelbie has fantastic house manners, is house trained, and enjoys both leash walks and exploring a securely fenced-in yard. As she is currently overweight at 35 pounds, her new family should commit to a weight loss plan to help her reach a healthier weight of 26-28 pounds. Shelbie gets along great with other dogs, cats, and children, making her a perfect addition to many households. However, she requires a secure, fenced-in yard for her outdoor adventures—no exceptions on that. Heart's Promise Sheltie Rescue only adopts to homes in Pennsylvania and near state lines, so please consider this before inquiring. Ready to make Shelbie part of your family? Don't wait!
