Leo and Ruby are a tightly bonded pair of senior Shelties who defy their age with energy and warmth. Both have excellent house manners and are house trained, happily trotting outside to explore their yard before settling in for a nap or a cuddle session together in their shared bed. They’re active, handling daily two-mile walks with ease, and greet new experiences and adventures with curiosity. Playtime comes naturally—expect silly bursts of play after breakfast and the classic Four O’clock zoomies, followed by lazy lounging. These two share a deep connection and must be adopted together—they've been side by side for years and thrive on each other's company. Leo and Ruby both come up to date on all their vet care and vaccinations, including dental work, and are currently being treated for Lyme with Doxy (covered by the rescue). Their foster home describes them as affectionate, friendly, and quick to warm up, making them great companions for adults or older children. They get along well with other dogs and would be fine with cats, but due to their age, a home without toddlers is best. A SECURE FENCED YARD is non-negotiable—they love supervised outdoor time and exploring safely.
