About Ike

Ike is a gentle soul and a sweet older gentleman who's hoping to find a loving home where he can relax and enjoy his golden years. He made his way to the shelter as a stray on June 9, 2026, and while his past has been tough, he's ready for a fresh start. Ike loves leisurely walks and exploring new spots, bringing a calm and affectionate energy wherever he goes. At 12 years old and weighing around 60 pounds, Ike is up to date on his vaccinations and has tested negative for heartworms. Due to his age, he won't be neutered at the shelter but will be microchipped upon adoption. There are some concerns about a possible eye infection, but with the right veterinary care, we're optimistic he'll be just fine. Ike is looking for a caring family who can provide the warmth and companionship he deserves. Please stop by and meet him in run 51; his ID number is 19772. If you're interested, consider bringing your current pet for a meet and greet to see if they're a good match. Every animal deserves a happy ending. This one starts with you.
