About Gigi
Meet Gigi, a sweet and timid little soul who is slowly learning to trust again. Rescued from a challenging past, she’s been in loving foster care since March 8, 2026. While Gigi is mostly a Yorkshire Terrier with traces of Chihuahua, her unique charm is accentuated by her apricot and beige coloring. She’s still a bit scared but is making progress thanks to the gentle guidance from her foster family and dog sister. Gigi is about 2 years old, spayed, vaccinated, and microchipped. Weighing in at approximately 9 lbs, she has a mixed coat that will need regular grooming every few months. Currently, she shows signs of being house trained, but a consistent routine of bathroom breaks is vital for her adjustment. Gigi loves her foster dog siblings and is quite fond of napping next to them on the couch, though she’s still hesitant when it comes to cuddles from humans. What Gigi needs most is a calm and loving forever home where she can continue to flourish at her own pace. A quiet environment with a fenced yard and preferably another laid-back dog will make Gigi feel safest. She’s mostly quiet, curious, and enjoys taking walks and exploring her surroundings.
