About Sadie
Meet Sadie, a wonderful 6-year-old Shepherd/Lab mix currently in the Cowboy Capital Pet Assistance League foster program. Weighing in at 50 pounds, Sadie is loyal, smart, and full of affection. She has been living with an older couple, and due to health issues, they are searching for a new forever home for her and her sister. Sadie is well-trained, responding to hand signals and commands like sit and stay, making her a great fit for anyone wanting a dog that already knows some basics. Sadie is friendly towards dogs, cats, kids, and even strangers, and she has a protective side once bonded with her people. Although she can be anxious during storms, she feels secure when she's inside with her family. Keep in mind she can hop over a 4-foot fence; therefore, a 6-foot fence or regular visits to a dog park is recommended for her outdoor adventures. Currently located in Bandera, TX, Sadie can be adopted locally, or arrangements can be made for transport to places such as Washington, Minnesota, and along the East Coast (except for Rhode Island and Massachusetts). Her adoption fee is $400, with a transport fee of $200. Ready to meet your new best friend? Apply now!
