About Blondie
Blondie is a goofy, affectionate Border Collie with a big, toothy grin. At three years old, she wakes up each day ready to bring joy and energy to your life. If you’re looking for a companion full of personality and love, Blondie could be your perfect match. This smart girl knows commands like sit, stay, and recall, and she’s even dabbled in agility, showing her enthusiasm for activity. Being a typical Border Collie, she thrives on mental stimulation and play. Although very dog-friendly, her herding instincts can sometimes overwhelm smaller dogs, so she would do best with canine friends who appreciate her playful spirit. In terms of environment, Blondie prefers a calm home. Too much chaos can make her anxious. She’s loving and warms up to humans quickly, especially with treats and patience, though she may initially be barky or nippy upon meeting strangers. Older children (9 years and up) are her ideal playmates, but younger, more energetic kids might activate her herding tendencies. Blondie has been making strides in her training, notably learning to ignore bikes and cars, but supervision is crucial in environments with fast-moving vehicles. Unfortunately, she doesn’t get along with cats, so a cat-free home is best for her. Blondie is fully vetted and ready for her next chapter. She’s looking for a foster or forever family who will embrace her goofy demeanor and loving nature. Click apply to start the adoption process.
