About Honey

Meet Honey, a petite survivor with a heart full of sweetness. After a tough early life spent protecting her puppies while living under a conex east of Phoenix, Honey is now ready to discover what it means to simply be a dog after being rescued. Though she can be skittish and is still learning to trust humans, Honey is making progress. She's beginning to appreciate gentle pets and is now seeking out quiet companionship at her own pace. This independent girl enjoys having access to a doggie door, allowing her to explore and relax outdoors. Honey would thrive in a calm, patient home as the only dog for now. The ideal adopter understands shy dogs and celebrates their small victories. Currently, she is being treated for a tick-borne illness, requiring medication twice daily, but otherwise, she is doing well and is estimated to be around 4 years old. With time, she will gain weight and transform into a lovely medium-sized dog. This sweet momma has known only survival; now she deserves to experience happiness and unconditional love. Honey is seeking a foster or adopter ready to help her blossom into the joyful companion she is meant to be. What are you waiting for? Apply today!
