Zima is an approximately 2-month-old Shar Pei mix puppy who is looking for a patient and loving family to help her discover just how wonderful life can be. This sweet girl came to the shelter as a stray, and while she's still a little shy, there's a loving puppy underneath that is waiting to blossom. Zima will need an adopter who understands that trust takes time and is willing to let her warm up at her own pace. She enjoys the company of other dogs and would likely benefit from having a confident canine friend to show her the ropes. We have not tested her with cats. Like most young puppies, Zima is not house trained yet and will need a family committed to helping her learn good manners, potty training, and all the basics that come with raising a puppy. With patience, consistency, and plenty of positive reinforcement, she'll grow into a wonderful companion. Zima has received her first DAPP vaccination but will need at least two additional booster vaccines at the adopter's expense and according to their veterinarian's recommendations. Her adoption fee includes her spay surgery, rabies vaccination, and microchip, which are currently scheduled for 09/11/26. Zima can be adopted before this date, provided her adopter agrees to bring her to her appointment.
