About Venus
Meet Venus, a lovely large breed dog at 59 lbs who is ready for a new adventure. She previously thrived in a nurturing home where she was fantastic around a baby, proving her gentle nature. However, she does prefer a cat-free environment. Venus is a bit shy and would flourish in a calm and quiet home where she can take her time to adjust. Once she warms up, you'll find that she is an affectionate lovebug who enjoys cuddling and following her people around, even during walks. Her caregivers have observed that she gets along well with other dogs but will benefit from slow introductions in new surroundings. Venus is a gentle soul who may feel nervous in unfamiliar situations, so a family that understands her needs and gives her time to settle in is ideal. If you think you can provide her the loving home she deserves, come meet her! You can visit her at the Pet Adoption Center on weekdays and weekends. Ready to fall in love?
