About Mary

Mary is an adorable puppy from a litter of ten who found her way to PUP after being surrendered from a challenging living situation. Her mother, a scruffy terrier mix, ensured that the pups were well-cared for before they made it to their foster home. Thus far, Mary is healthy and thriving. A genetic test on one sibling revealed a diverse mix, highlighting her herding dog ancestry with breeds such as Australian Cattle Dog, Miniature American Shepherd, and German Shepherd. The rest of her lineage includes Rottweiler, Staffordshire Terrier, and even Golden Retriever among others. Given this unique blend, Mary will likely be mid-sized when fully grown. However, her adopters should be prepared for any surprises in her size as well. An essential part of her early development involves learning social skills, so potential adopters should be ready to expose her to a variety of human experiences and canine interactions. This includes meeting different people, hearing unexpected sounds, and socializing with other dogs. Regular puppy playdates and socialization classes will help her grow into a well-rounded dog. Mary is vaccinated and has been vet-checked but will require additional vaccinations. While her spay surgery is included in the adoption fee if performed at the PUP clinic by six months, it's a requirement for her new family. If you're over 21 and everyone in your household supports adopting a puppy, reach out soon. Prepare a vet reference if you already have pets. Don't miss out on the chance to meet Mary before she’s ready to find her forever home. She's excited to start her journey with you! Ready to make her part of your family?
