About Juneau
Meet Juneau! At around 2 years old, this German Shepherd Dog brings a wonderful mix of playful energy and laid-back companionship. She’s fully house trained and sleeps soundly through the night, quickly adapting to home life. Juneau enjoys walks and loves to explore her surroundings, though those bunnies and squirrels do catch her fancy occasionally. She’s honing her impulse control, learning to focus better, especially around other dogs during walks. In a fenced area, she really excels with a strong recall and marvelous dog-to-dog manners, greeting her pals politely and respecting their boundaries. However, she’s always ready to partake in a fun chase. While she has been crated, Juneau can get a little anxious after long periods inside. Recently, she’s shown that she can be left out in the house with another dog, staying calm and appropriate with her toys until her humans return. Juneau will thrive in a home providing both structure and playtime to build her confidence. This smart, affectionate girl is eager to find her forever family.
