About Lacey
Meet Lacey! This resilient sweetheart came to our rescue late last year after being found pregnant at a seasonal hunting lodge. Thanks to an incredible foster family, Lacey left her foraging days behind and gave birth to seven healthy puppies in the safety of a warm home. Now that all her puppies have been adopted, Lacey is fully vetted, happy, and eager to find her forever family. She has so much love to give, ready to settle down with someone who will cherish her. Lacey is believed to be a mix of Border Collie and Labrador Retriever, approximately 1.5 years old. She currently weighs around 42 lbs and is up to date on her vaccinations. Lacey has been spayed, is heartworm negative, and is both kennel trained and house trained. She gets along wonderfully with other dogs, cats, and kids. She rides well in a car, walks well on a leash, and knows basic commands. Border Collies and Labrador Retrievers are known for their intelligence, athleticism, and loyalty, forming incredible bonds with their people. Lacey embodies these traits, proving to be an easy and loving companion. She strikes a perfect balance, being playful and fun but also gentle and calm around the house. Lacey is the epitome of a family dog, thriving best in a home where she is included in daily activities and treated like a beloved member of the pack. This could be the start of something paw-some.
