About Ross

Ross is a friendly, approximately 5-month-old Catahoula mix arriving on June 21st. Rescued in rural Oklahoma, he loves to play with other dogs and is quite submissive, though his energetic puppy antics can be a bit overwhelming for some older dogs. He has a big heart and shows affection to everyone he meets; however, he may do best in a home with older children due to his playful nature. This sweet boy enjoys cuddling and relaxing in laps, as well as playing fetch and tugging on toys. He knows commands like "sit" and responds well when called. While he's learning to walk nicely on a harness, he rides great in the car, even if heโ€™s still hesitant to jump in and out. Ross currently shares his space with cats but tends to chase them, so a cat-free home would suit him better. He sleeps in a crate but prefers the company of his humans and likes toys to keep him entertained while youโ€™re away. Potential adopters should be aware that the application process involves landlord approval and veterinary checks. Although it can take 1-3 weeks to process applications, meeting Ross will be worth the wait. He's looking for a loving home to start his next chapter.
