About Blue Sassy
Blue Sassy is a 9-year-old Blue Heeler with a heart full of love and resilience. After spending her entire life as a devoted companion to one man, she faced a tough transition when her owner's health declined and he had to find her a new home. Thankfully, Critter Cavalry Rescue stepped in to support her journey. Despite being diabetic and having some limited vision, Blue Sassy does not let her conditions define her. She wakes up each day with a cheerful spirit, enjoys exploring her surroundings, and thrives on affection, whether it's ear scratches or curling up for cuddles. Her foster family can’t stop raving about her cheerful and affectionate nature. Ideally, Blue Sassy would thrive in a home with minimal stairs for easier access to the outdoors, and she truly enjoys the company of other dogs and children. While she needs twice-daily insulin injections to manage her diabetes, it's a straightforward routine that’s manageable. Blue Sassy has so much love and joy yet to share. With age being just a number, this sweet dog is looking for a family that sees past her health needs and recognizes the incredible companion she is. Could you be the one to provide her with the next loving chapter in her life? Think you can give Blue Sassy the home she deserves? Apply to adopt today!
