About Apollo

Apollo is a fun-loving young pup bursting with personality and energy. Found running alongside what appears to be his brother, he quickly charms everyone he meets with his playful antics and friendly spirit. This handsome boy is marked by his mostly white coat with light brown spots, and his unique features include one brown eye and one eye that’s half blue and half brown, making him stand out wherever he goes. Still very much a puppy, Apollo has gained 10 pounds since being rescued, and it’s clear he has more growing to do. With his thick legs, oversized paws, and boundless enthusiasm for play, he enjoys carrying toys, chewing on bones, and engaging in tug-of-war. His curiosity about the world is infectious, and he embraces life with an adventurous attitude. Despite being young, Apollo has already learned some basics. He responds to commands like "sit" and knows what "bed" means. He walks fairly well on a leash and is both crate trained and house trained. Apollo enjoys the company of other dogs and has done well with children ages 7 and up; he's even shown friendly interest in cats. His charming way of winning forgiveness involves rolling over to show his belly whenever he thinks he might have misstepped. Apollo would thrive in a lively home that can provide both structure and plenty of exercise. While he sometimes forgets his manners and can get a little mouthy with excitement, he's eager to learn. His future family should keep in mind that Apollo is clever and will find ways to explore if left unsupervised, so a secure fenced yard is a must. With his silly expressions, floppy ears, and endless tail wags, Apollo promises to keep you smiling and is ready to become the best friend you’ve been searching for.
