Benson is a spirited 4-month-old male Maltipoo weighing 6.2 pounds. He and his brother Austin thrive on play, enjoying each other’s company and making friends with other dogs of all sizes. These playful pups were rescued from a puppy mill and are still warming up to humans, but Benson is already showing great progress. Though shy at first, Benson is learning to be more comfortable around people. He's not quite house trained yet, but he's quickly adapting, especially since he's been good about using the crate at night. Both brothers currently sleep in a crate, and they only whine a little, mostly staying quiet throughout the night. Ideally, Benson would stay with Austin, but they can be adopted separately if needed. He is neutered, micro-chipped, and up to date on vaccinations. New adopters will need to complete a basic obedience course. Since Benson gets along with cats, dogs, and kids, he could be a great addition to many households.
