About D Luna
D Luna, affectionately known as Looney Tuna, is a spayed 2-year-old black German Shepherd who embodies all the classic traits of her breed. She's a loyal, intelligent, and inquisitive companion seeking an experienced adopter. Although she can be protective, she’s also loving and great with children, making her a good fit for families with older kids. Luna has had some challenges with new dogs and other smaller animals, so it's best she goes to a home as the only pet where she can get all the attention she craves. She still needs proper introductions to new companions, though she might thrive as a solo fur baby. Socialization is also a work in progress; she can be wary of strangers initially, barking out of excitement rather than aggression. This girl loves physical and mental engagement. She thrives on daily exercise and enjoys puzzles and toys that keep her busy. Her crate training is solid, but she won't be happy being left alone for long periods without stimulation. She has charm, including a fun quirk of wanting to lounge in chairs or loungers. If you’re familiar with German Shepherds and ready to give Looney Tuna the active and engaged home she deserves, don’t hesitate to reach out. Every animal deserves a happy ending. This one starts with you.
