About Jax
Jax is an affectionate 3 to 4-year-old mastiff who weighs about 135 pounds. Despite his size, he loves to snuggle and is genuinely gentle when taking treats; there's no food aggression here, and he is completely trustworthy with chew bones. Enjoying his walks, Jax is good on the leash and loves playing with toys or balls in the yard. He entertains himself for about 10 minutes before needing a break. He knows basic commands and is a tender-hearted dog who gets along with everyone. One unique thing to note: Jax has had some medical care, including a repair for cherry eye, which left one of his eyes red. All his medical needs are taken care of, so he's ready for his forever home! Jax is house trained and would thrive best with a stay-at-home parent since he is very companion-oriented. You’ll notice he squats to pee and avoids marking bushes, showing his gentle nature. He’s great with children and also gets along well with dogs. What are you waiting for? Apply today!
