About Tommy

Tommy is a charming, four-year-old male tabby cat, weighing around 11.7 pounds with striking golden eyes and a warm orange and white coat. He’s currently looking for a loving guardian who can appreciate his sweet nature and playful personality. Tommy has tested positive for feline leukemia (FeLV), so he needs a home with other cats that carry the virus or with dogs—he’s been living happily with dogs at a doggie daycare and gets along well with them. He has settled into indoor life nicely and has transformed into a bit of a foodie, gaining some weight since coming to the rescue. Tommy is well-behaved at home and is great with the litter box. He enjoys playtime with games on the iPad and has a knack for staying engaged. With a friendly disposition, Tommy loves to cuddle and is quite talkative with his companions. He is neutered, vaccinated for rabies and distemper, and microchipped. Given that he was previously TNRd (trapped, neutered, released), he has a small ear tip. To meet and potentially adopt Tommy, please fill out an adoption application through Friends of Petraits. His adoption fee is $175, which helps support other rescued pets. Your new best friend is just one click away.
