About Archie

Meet Archie, a charming one-year-old American Staffordshire Terrier mix. Weighing in at 53 pounds, he sports a happy and outgoing personality that's simply infectious. Archie first joined the Danbury Animal Welfare Society when he was just 5 months old, quickly winning hearts with his sweet nature. After a brief stint in a home, he's back at DAWS, eagerly seeking his forever family again. Archie is friendly with all people and gets along well with other dogs, even trying to befriend the cat in his previous home. He's all set for outdoor adventures and has a positive energy that's perfect for an active household. Though he hasn’t had experience with young children, we believe he would do just fine with them, especially if they’re ready for a lively companion. Neutered, microchipped, and up-to-date on vaccinations, Archie is a healthy pup ready for his next chapter. If you want to give Archie a loving home, fill out an application online or visit us at the shelter. Archie can’t wait to meet you!
