About Slim
Meet Slim! This energetic two-year-old Red Heeler is ready to find his forever home where he can run, play, and embark on outdoor adventures. Weighing in at a healthy seventy pounds, Slim loves to camp, hike, and swim. He thrives in playdates with dogs and has good social skills with people at home, though he’s still working on getting comfortable in new environments. As a natural herding breed, Slim benefits from a home with older children who understand his tendency to herd and will help him adapt. He gets along well with large livestock like cows and horses and is learning to behave around chickens. Slim is motivated by treats, making him a quick learner for training purposes. He is neutered, up to date on vaccinations, and is house trained. If you can offer a loving environment for Slim to thrive and grow, consider submitting an application on our website.
