About Banjo

Banjo arrived as a tiny pup, the only survivor from his litter after they were found in poor condition. He's about 90% blind and has epilepsy, but donโ€™t let that deter you; his epilepsy is well-managed, requiring medication twice daily during meals. This unique boy is in need of a patient and understanding family who can guide him calmly through any seizures he experiences. Despite his challenges, Banjo gets along with everyone. He's friendly with children and enjoys the company of other dogs, staying neutral towards cats in his foster home. Because heโ€™s still young, he needs to be crated when left alone, but he has a solid foundation for this, thanks to his foster care. Banjo rides well in the car, loves his bath time, and while food excites him more than toys, he adores games that involve interaction with his people. Currently located in Palos Heights, IL, Banjo can be transported to an approved adopter. This special boy is ready for a family that will love him just as he is.
